RADIO SHACK 4WD TWIN MOTOR DESERT VIPER WORKING remote control needs battery

The battery in the pic is dead only accepts a 2 minute charge thats all I was able to test the car but the car ran up too full speed and reverse as it should steers as it should. Nothing broken on the car decals are in good shape, missing a little outer plastic covering for the antenna, Back shocks and the front tie rods have rust as does the outer covering of the rear motor and aslo the screws that attach the body , couldnt remove the body due to not having a small enough screwdriver, tirs are good. Controller works as it should all contols work, antenna scopes in and out as it should. Charger works able to put a short charge on the battery i had and then the light flashes when complete, extra fuse and manual.
